Too Few Witnesses ©
Trinity, if it is your will, Jesus please return in glory today,
bring your justice to this world, and have mercy on us sinners.
Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
“Our tainted nature’s solitary boast” as poet William Wordsworth spoke of Mary. Mary is the perfect creation of Almighty God. Beautiful sunrises, breathtaking sunsets, and all the creativity of human energies in between fail in comparison with Mary. Our humble attempt to describe the many qualities and attributes of Our Lady in her Litany, surely fall short of those known to Almighty God. Mary as it pleases you, we humbly ask for your continued intercession for a weak and sinful humanity. Saint Juan Diego, please pray for us.
Abortion is not a blessing for the aborted baby. To lose ones’ life is not a blessing. To be violently denied ones’ liberty is not a blessing. To be cheated of ones’ pursuit of happiness is not a blessing. To claim that abortion is a blessing is a denial of the humanity and dignity which the unborn possess, equally with us, already born. We who were alive at every moment before our birth received the inestimable blessing of our birth! To deny those who follow, that same blessing, is the cruelest form of self-righteousness, to judge that their life is not of the same worthy essence as our own and then destroy it with unworthy intentions. It will never be a blessing!
A slow start today with witnesses for the Unborn. Things improved and prayers, a blessing, were said and songs, another blessing, were sung. There were worldly objections, to the pro-life presence as usual trying to prevent that message from swaying a client toward saving their Unborn child from a violent premature end to life as we know it. Life is a blessing, always. May God have mercy on us all!
